Canor or Nikon

Hi - first I'd like to apologise for such a boring question, but the frustration of choosing is killing me!

I currently own a Canon EOS 35mm - which I have had no complaints with. I am an absolute amateur but still manage to get one or two nice shots.

I would now like to get a DSLR and have narrowed it down to either the Canon Rebel or the Nikon F70. Have to stop myself looking too hard coz then I start wanting the bigger and better and I just can't afford that.

I only have 2 lenses at the moment the basic and a 75-300. My original choice was the Canon simply cos of being able to use my current lenses. But I have read some stuff about older lenses (I bought these in 1999) not working with the new camera.

Aaaaahhhhhhhh! I know I have to get myself to a decent camera shop (suggestions for the Bromley or London area anyone?) but some help would be good.

Oh and I also want to do a course (weekend, no certificate - just for myself) any suggestions?

Don't ask much do I?!

Can't comment on the Nikon personally because i will always stay with the Caanon family - never had a problem with them so won't change.

A good place to look for courses is Here - just type in the type of course (i.e. photography for a broad range) and select your location (i.e. Bromley) and keep ya fingers crossed. If the type of course you want is not there it gives you the addresses/contacts for all the local educational establishments - give them a ring and see if they offer other courses more suited to your needs.
